About

The Roaring Twenties

Hi, my name is Natasha.  I'm a twenty-something living in Toronto, Canada.  That's me in the picture above.  I'm currently a business student studying at Ryerson University's Ted Rogers School of Management.  The first thing you must know about me is that I have an irrational obsession with everything to do with mornings: the sky at sunrise, the smell of coffee, the fact that all individuals are the most productive after a good nights rest, that no one during morning rush hour walks slow, that no one during morning rush hour is grumpy, that nothing can beat a long sunday morning workout and an even longer sunday breakfast, clean and fresh air, that mornings have their own greeting and it's acceptable to say 'Good Morning' until 11:59 AM, and most importantly, that the sun is immaculate at sunrise and you have 5 minutes before you miss it looking glorious.  Now that you know my secret, we can be friends.

From a young age, i've idolised and been enamoured by people in this time of their lives - their twenties.  I think it's so fascinating because an individual knows who they are just equally as much as they are still trying to figure it out.  It's the time in your life that you learn about your relationship with the world.  And more often than not, when people are looking back on their lives, this is the time and these are the moments that are most recollected.  There is so much beauty in being young and this is how most people older than me have put it:

'It was the best of times, it was the worst of times.' - Charles Dickens
And so, with that sentiment, my blog will be about my loved as a twenty-something and the experiences of being in my twenties - education, career, music, songwriting, books, writing, business, wine, food, fashion & beauty, and lastly mental health.  I have a hope of where I want my life to go, come along with me as I take on this amazing journey!
